WHERE HOPE BEGINS

YOUR JOURNEY STARTS HERE

BIBLE TEACHING

Life doesn’t always go as we hope. Storms arise—both in our surroundings and within our souls. Yet, we believe that God’s Word shines as a guiding light, even in the darkest of valleys.

If you’re navigating loss, fear, or uncertainty, remember this: You are never alone. God sees you, loves you, and promises to walk with you through every storm you face.

We’ve gathered uplifting Scriptures, messages of hope, and Bible teachings to bring encouragement and strength to your heart today.

Storms come—both the kind that shake our homes and the kind that shake our hearts. Maybe you're walking through a season of grief, battling fear, or facing a future that feels uncertain. If that’s you today, know this: you are not alone.God sees you.
He knows the storm you're in.
And He promises to be with you through every wave and every gust of wind.“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.”
Isaiah 43:2 (ESV)Sometimes we think God’s presence means the storm will stop. But often, it means He’ll carry us through it.“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.”
Psalm 23:4His Word brings light, even in the darkest valleys.“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Psalm 119:105Wherever you are right now—on your knees, in tears, or just trying to keep going—lean into His promises. They are unshakable even when everything else feels like it’s falling apart. Here are a few Scriptures to hold onto:“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you… Let not your hearts be troubled.” — John 14:27“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken. You are fiercely loved.Keep walking, even if it’s one small step at a time. God walks with you—and He never lets go. more

"A Place Where Compassion Takes Root."
Serving our community with the love of Christ—feeding the hungry, clothing the cold, and showing up in disaster.

In a world often marked by division, struggle, and need, the Church is called to be something radically different: a place where compassion takes root.Compassion is more than a feeling—it's love in action.
It’s the kind of love Jesus demonstrated when He fed the hungry, healed the sick, wept with the grieving, and embraced the outcast. And He calls us to do the same.“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
— 1 John 3:18To serve our community with the love of Christ is to become His hands and feet—meeting people right where they are, in their moment of need:Feeding the hungry, just as Jesus fed the 5,000, turning scarcity into abundance.Clothing the cold, remembering that when we care for “the least of these,” we’re serving Christ Himself.Showing up in disaster, not with perfect answers, but with faithful presence—bringing hope, healing, and help.“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”
— Matthew 25:35When compassion takes root in us, it spreads.
It becomes the heartbeat of a church that looks like Jesus—welcoming the broken, helping the weary, and shining light in dark places. This is our mission. This is our calling.
To create a space—both in our hearts and in our communities—where people experience tangible love, healing hope, and the nearness of God.Let’s never underestimate the power of a warm meal, a winter coat, or simply showing up. These are the seeds of compassion that can transform lives.more.
